Boundless Infinity of Love
With an Open Heart
In the beginning, I suffered,
Through pain and torment I somehow survived.
Through survival, I learned what strength I had,
For with great effort, I could shrug off all arrows.
The more I sat in stillness, the stronger my armor became,
Until I could laugh at all attempts at injury.
But as I stared in wonder, a blinding flash of truth
Was revealed to me at last:
Not armor nor strength I needed, but greater love and understanding,
For with an open heart, the arrows pass right through me.
Much love and happiness,
Kevin
